Limp ~ #SexySnippets

Six more from Incidental Contact. The town's biggest playboy has started to have performance issues. Okay, yeah, so I'm grinning.

He might even say that unexpected romp was better than the sex…but then again, he hadn’t had sex, had he? Fucking limp bastard. What the hell was up with his cock? In the pool, with Amy squirming in his arms like a turned-on teddy bear, begging him with her eyes—nothing.
Nothing below the waist. His brain conjured the intense ripple of pleasure from sliding into the heat of her tight pussy, but the sensation—and act—was limited to his skull.
Gotta be stress.

Useless #Sexy Snippets

This week's seven sentences come from Incidental Contact, which releases Tuesday.

The fine print blurred. His mind’s eye saw the spray from the shower running over Amy's skin. The image was all too easy to conjure after last night. His brain sketched her hands, rubbing soap across her breasts and down her thighs. Then the image changed, and his hands were doing the rubbing.
Thinking about what he was missing, he glared at the undisturbed fabric over his cock. Useless motherfucker.

What? I told you I made Eric suffer, didn't I? Yep, I wrote an erotic romance hero with erectile issues. Trust me, that's only one of the problems Eric must overcome, but it doesn't turn down the heat in this story one bit.

Contact ~ #SexySnippets

Dont'cha just love that moment when the hero really sees--I mean really sees--the unlikely heroine?  When his defenses are down and it's like he's using someone else's eyes? That's happening in this snippet from Incidental Contact (Release date, Dec. 10th)

Raking his hair from his eyes, Eric pictured Amy in a dress. He imagined bending her over the back end of her car, flipping the hem up around her waist, and yanking down her panties. He just wasn't sure why. Habit, maybe. Or deprivation. Or the cute way she said “fucking”. Okay, so the jockey comment had him going.

Imperfections ~ #SexySnippets

Sweet mother of God, I've finished Incidental Contact. (More about the delay after my #SexySnippet, if you're interested) Here's my seven, from the same title:

She’d seen him shirtless before, she just hadn't been expected to talk during the experience.

When he sat back, she eyed the rippling muscle and bronze skin. Not graduating suddenly meant little. What mattered was how she wanted to rub her nose in that perfect mat of dark hair on his chest. The urge was foreign, like someone else stuck the idea into her brain. She’d never been this close to male perfection. She wasn't sure she wanted to be, since their proximity gave him ample opportunity to see her imperfections, yet at the same time, she wanted to curl up against his strong chest.

Okay, for those who've stuck around to hear why my daughter could have a baby in less time than it took me to birth this book, here goes:

I had Soft Sounds of Pleasure mostly written when I saw an open call for a Christmas short. I wrote Incidental Contact to those specifications. (At the time, it was titled Jingle Bells and the Last Oil Filter.) The story was accepted, then I learned the publisher wanted to publish books one and two first. Since Wildly Inappropriate was but a gleam in my eye at the time, much time passed before I looked at Amy and Eric's story again.

When the suggestion was made to expand the tale, I started writing. A lot of things had happened in WI that weren't accounted for in the Last Oil Filter, because I hadn't yet written Dan and Cynda's story.  Naturally, the story line deviated from the one in my head when I'd initially written Eric and Amy's tale.

I had a new version completed to about 70k when all hell broke loose at my publisher. I won't go into all the gory details, but it's very disheartening to hear someone thinks it's cool to expand their business using money due their authors, then 'borrow' more royalties from other authors to pay those he screwed the first time around. While I was fighting to have my rights to SSoP and WI returned for breach of contract (so said publisher would no longer have money of mine to take), Wildly Inappropriate alone was pirated over 10,000 times. (Thanks, Scribd.)

So that drama translated into three or four months when I wrote nothing. Frankly, those two things can suck out your soul if you allow it. In the meantime, I'd found a huge hole in the overall De Marco timeline. Draft one tried too hard to fix that mistake Draft two was better, but had too much emphasis on the wrong characters. Frustrated and tired of the story, I set it aside to pursue other projects.

Honestly? Eric and Amy's story is better for the delay. Every new version has kept the best of the prior one and new material kept coming. I'm thrilled to say the manuscript's in the hands of my editor now, and hopefully, in a month or less, those hard-core De Marco fans still out there will finally see Eric fall in love.

And boy, does he suffer to do it. I thought that was only fair. <grin>

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week.

Oooh...baby pictures! So glad you asked.

Relax and Let It Happen ~ #SexySnippets

My seven  sentences today come from Incidental Contact, Book 3 in the Devilish De Marco Men series. When Eric suggests they get wet, Amy's expecting a fiberglass big-boy-toy hot tub, not a pool made from a geothermal hot spring. And she sure didn't expect the small jet of water Eric parks her on top of in order to 'get that tense look off her face'.

“Relax, Amy, let it happen.”
The jet of water felt soft, yet the slender stream flayed her clit with insistent pressure. Holding her gaze, he rubbed his lips across one distended nipple. Raising his head, he worried the peak with the stubble on his chin. Each prickling scrape sent daggers into her core and when he nipped the hard bud, she cried out. The gentle torture made her frustration spiral until he took a soothing lick. The entire time, that forceful jet of water danced over her clit.

Good Vibrations ~ #Sexy Snippets

Seven more from Incidental Contact, Those Devilish De Marcos Book 3

Unexpectedly, he smiled. Something caused the blue in his eyes to dominate the green, like her mother’s treasured mood ring from her hippie days. The sight made Amy’s heart as uncooperative as her tongue. He leaned forward until their noses touched. Heat from his body seeped through her shirt. His breath felt cool to her heated cheeks, but the stirring air made her lips tingle.
Maybe he didn't realize he stood so close that her breasts, belly, and thighs were pressed against him. He couldn't know every time he growled like a Rottweiler, her nipples stood up like tuning forks, absorbing the vibration.

Goin' Down ~ #SexySnippets

Life deals Eric a harsh blow, and all he can think about is being with Amy. But when he finds her, she's just been turned down for a very important project. Do they fight? Yes, but not the way he expects. She challenges him to a Nerf ball duel in the middle of the mall. When she informs Eric with a glint in her eye that he's going down, he has a typical De Marco response.

She poked him in the chest with the end of her gun. “You’re going down, De Marco.”
He leaned down until their noses nearly touched. “Oh, hell yes, I will go down. Count on that. Bet a quarter, I can make you cry with just my tongue.” Her cheeks darkened, and for a moment, her eyes had that unfocused look.

Good For the Soul ~ #SexySnippets

My seven today come from Incidental Contact, book #3 in my Devilish De Marco Men series. Eric's explaining how he plans to teach plump, plain-Jane Amy Sizemore to feel sexy.

“I mean, you may only orgasm at my whim. Whenever and however I want to give you one, I’ll give you one. And you’ll accept however many I choose to give you. I’m not a one-and-done kind of guy. And no cheating. You can’t give yourself one unless I’m watching. We do that on Sundays, because masturbation’s good for the soul.”

Think my little Education major might regret asking about the syllabus?

Hot Man and a Quickie ~ How to Handle a Blackmailer

The hot man:

Congratulations to our resident hot man, John Quinlan. John's been named an official model for Alpha Male Underwear. Meaning...more pics like this!

If the news isn't enough to make you happy, I'm delighted to announce a new twist on the Saturday quickie, beginning in May. John's agreed to answer one or two quick questions each week. (insert evil laugh). Also beginning next week, I hope to be posting snippets from Kink and Ink, Carmine Club Book 2, which will feature John on the cover.
Stalk John here:

The quickie:
I stuck with the underwear theme for this week's quickie:

(Excerpt from Incidental Contact, Those Devilish De Marcos, Book 3-unedited and subject to deletion)
Closing the door to shut out the cold, she saw Eric,  already feeding wood into the stove in the den. "Mornin'." He grinned. "I see someone's cold."
Her nipples had beaded from the chill in the basement. The idea he might warm them up was appealing, but the proposal stayed on her mind. She waved the bucket. "I was thinking about the migrant camp. Tell me more about it while you make your coffee."
"The camp's just always been there," he answered with a shrug, closing the doors on the stove and striding into the kitchen to grab the canister of grounds. "Every summer when the caravans started driving past the farmhouse on their way up to the camp, I got excited. Everybody on a farm works. Kids included. We never got so much as a dime to help, but in the evenings I didn't want to leave camp." He flashed the grin that always made her wet and needy. "I remember the first time my grandfathers decided I was old enough to stay overnight in one of the bunkhouses. I couldn't sleep, I was so excited. There's a communal kitchen, mostly run by older women who couldn't work in the orchards. Some of the workers played musical instruments, and they'd all sing after dinner. The younger ones sometimes danced."
Amy couldn't help but wonder if that attraction had been due to the fact there were mothers in the camp, women looking after their families. "Why did the peach farm shut down?" she asked, her interest piqued. Grabbing up a section of the newspaper, she began covering the counter while he filled the carafe with water and poured it into the reservoir of his small coffee maker.
Eric filled the reservoir and punched the button. Amy tipped the bucket's contents onto the newsprint. Moving closer, he reached into a bucket for a pine cone, his eyes open wider now.  She gave his bare chest an appreciative glance. Her nipples were warming up, but no less hard.
"My two grandfathers were farmers. Dad was into cars. Rafe's father outlived Nance by maybe five months. With both of 'em gone, my father inherited the land. The garage was making money and Dad was done with farming. He leased the orchards out for a while." His shoulders hitched up and down before laying the pine come on the newsprint, turning it with long fingers that made her think of the way they felt rasping her skin. "A long run of late freezes put a bunch of local peach farmers out of business. The sharecroppers lost their shirts." He frowned, turning away to pull open the door to the freezer. "What about lunch? I've got all the ingredients to make a taco casserole that's pretty good." He set a package of ground beef into the sink. "The camp fascinated me, not growing peaches." He moved to stand beside the coffee pot, glaring at the slow trickle of dark liquid.
Wearing nothing but a pair of snowy boxers, the man was gorgeous. It was Sunday morning. They were alone in cabin in the woods. Amy forgot about projects and her parents. She wanted Eric now, not after he'd had three cups of coffee. "For twenty bucks, I won't tell Lila you know how to cook."
His grin was lopsided when he looked over his shoulder. "Have I ever shown you how I deal with pint-sized blackmailers?" He closed the small distance between them.
Her heart stuttered when his gaze raked her. His eyes seemed to turn more blue.
He wrapped his hand around hers, tugging her down the short hall to his bedroom. Grabbing her around the waist, he tossed her gently onto the bed. His boxers couldn't hide his burgeoning erection, but he surprised her by turning away. Grabbing two of the wrought iron handles to pull open a drawer in a dresser made from pine and decorated with knots the color of rust, he began to toss rolled-up athletic socks over his shoulder. They landed on the tangled sheets, bouncing across the quilt made of multi-colored squares. Amy lay there, enjoying looking at his strong back and thighs. Muscles rippled beneath his dark skin. When the drawer had to be empty, he turned, still holding one pair of socks. Unrolling them, he held her gaze while he knotted them together.
"Oh." Her heartbeat kicked up like a hurricane, but she smiled, thinking of his promise to identify every single thing that turned her on. She'd never been tied up to have sex before, but was game to give it a try.
"Oh, yes." He unrolled another pair, tying them to the first two. "Your inquisitive little mind's getting busy now, wondering what I might do to you when you're all tied up. You might even be getting a little bit wet."
Since he mentioned it, she was. Excitement thrummed in her nipples, streaking toward her clit.
He noticed. "You have the cutest little nipples, did you know that?"

Sawdust and Comfort ~ Six Sentence Sunday #SixSunday

Six more from Incidental Contact.

Snorting aloud, Amy rose on her toes and tossed the huge towel over the top of the rail holding the shower curtain before adjusting the water temperature. As though every woman in town hadn't tried to 'comfort' Eric De Marco? Now that Daniel and Colton were off the relationship market, competition was sure to increase for the last unattached De Marco brother. This year would likely be a banner one for adding new notches to his bedpost. Assuming he had any bedposts left. Rumor had it the man was a sex machine. If he actually carved notches in his bedposts, he probably had to suck up the sawdust with a Dyson and buy a new bed every six months.

Barter ~ Six Sentence Sunday #SixSunday

Six more from Incidental Contact

"Lila said not to expect cash for rent," he informed her, his sexy grin seeming to grow hotter. "Maybe we can work out some kind of barter."
Barter.
Amy's normally agile mind went completely blank. An image of the frozen doe she'd dodged when driving down the remote private road leading to the cabin the night before morphed into her head.
"I… um… I suck at c-c-ooking," she finally stammered.

Pierced ~ Six Sentence Sunday #SixSunday

Six more from Incidental Contact.

Working toward her mouth with his lips, he eased the palm of his other hand down her spine, over the curve of her ass, seeking her slit. With his middle finger, he pierced her slick little cunt roughly. At the same time, he pushed past her lips. He thrilled at the vibration of her moan against his invading tongue; his heart soared at the way she pushed back onto his hand. Her pussy was so tight he could barely get a finger inside her.

Recent reviews for Wildly Inappropriate:

This book triggers a lot of emotions while exposing prejudice in a realistic format, uncovering history unknown in book one and introducing elements of domestic discipline. WARNING: Those of us in the south won't be shocked by some of the situations that arise but others might find it unsettling. Never have I seen this theme done so honestly. It is intrinsic to the development of the story. So much happens in this book and it is all woven so perfectly, so seamlessly, I didn't want to put it down. Including characters from book one was a great addition - readers will feel a part of the DeMarco family as they fall for Daniel and Cynda. There are a few light moments of humor and some suspenseful and tense scenes. The sex is hot, their chemistry is even hotter. This is truly an indulgent read.

In the Blood ~ Wicked After Dark Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Wicked After Dark Blog Hop!

I must confess, I don't write paranormal, but I do love a wicked man. You know the kind, ones who are so sinfully gorgeous and dominant, they just make a woman wanna be bad? My current series is about an entire family of men like that...tall, confident men, with Italian good looks and blue collar jobs.

I'm giving away one e-copy of the current release in the series, Wildly Inappropriate, for every 20 commenters who vote in the poll featured on the top right, and tell me how they voted, along with a valid e-mail address.

Just how wicked are these De Marco men? Glad you asked. Some say it's in the blood. Consider this scene from Wildly Inappropriate, where two of the three brothers are discussing something contained in  their mother's dairies  recently come to light.

(excerpt)

"Now I know why Eric's such a caveman. I mean, Lila goes crazy when I tie her up. Little Miss Control Freak loves that, actually. But I can't imagine what she'd do if I tried to spank her as discipline. I'm thinking target practice with me as the bull's-eye."
"Some women like it," Dan pointed out, knowing he sounded defensive. "You say Lila likes being restrained. Why's it so hard to imagine some like to be spanked, restrained, rough fucked… even forced to have sex?" Colton lowered his head and gave Dan a hard look. "Not rape, dammit, but there's a biological imperative at work here, Colton. Women—some of them—like the idea they're being… taken. Consent's implied, or stated by contract in advance." He could tell he was on thin ice from his brother's troubled expression.
"Dan, why do I get the feeling you're speaking from experience?"
Fuck it. "Because I am. I'm not going to pussyfoot around a woman. If she's into me, and I want her, I'll take her. Whenever, wherever, and however I want. Some women crave that feeling, C, of being shown their man's in charge. Some need to be made to feel small, and helpless, and wanted beyond all reason or convention. They get off on that more than tender, sweet sex. There's not a damn thing wrong with it, either, if you're both into it. When a woman gets all hormonal, chances are a good hard fuck, or even a spanking, will actually help her. She'll cry, she'll get upset, but she… settles down." He shrugged defensively under his brother's stare but met his eyes steadily, more sure today of his answer than he would've been yesterday. "Endorphins are released."
"So… how'd you meet Cynda, again?"
"We met when she came to ask if I'd talk to a man who wanted to buy some land. She and I have an… understanding."
"Well, if Dad forced pregnancies on her, then I can see why Mom ran away," Colton burst out, obviously shying away from the rest of the topic. "She was praying I'd be a girl, so she could talk him into letting her get her tubes tied or something. Having all of us wore her down, D. I believe a woman should have a say in that. A big one. I can tell you for a fact Lila's taken a huge load off me by assuming equal responsibility for Jonah. I can't imagine how much harder it was for Mom with four of us."
Dan had witnessed only the one disciplinary spanking of Cammie. Rafe spanked his children too, and they all knew from experience, Rafe had a heavy hand. He'd been imagining Cammie leaving Georgia's house after making an appointment for an abortion. The other part of the equation, the part he felt separated him and their father from the primordial ooze, was making the effort to know that woman inside out.
Rafe would've sensed something was up, Dan knew. The path Cammie had chosen was such a huge betrayal of trust, she'd have been nervous and Rafe would've watched her more closely. Arranged to spend more time with her, because that was part of it. When you found a woman that wanted to get up close and personal with your inner caveman on a long-term basis, you had to be her everything, because you were demanding that of her. You had to commit to becoming so attuned to every little shade and shift in her moods that she could hide nothing.
At least, that was the De Marco way. Even Colton had the tendency, whether he'd admit it or not. From the minute he'd laid eyes on Lila, at all of nineteen, she'd been his one. He'd simply had to wait a decade to get his hands on her, but once he had, the kid hadn't stopped until he had Lila under his roof and in his bed full-time, overcoming every objection she'd thrown at him.
Dan was well past any need to sow wild oats. Like Colton, he'd always been more selective than Eric, partly because if he had to settle for vanilla, he'd as soon do without. He knew if he could find the one woman who made him smile when there was nothing at all to smile about and who also was into his brand of sex, one who craved giving up her control to him, he'd sink so far into that woman it would be hard to tell where she ended and he began. He'd see to that. Have I found her?

Be sure to return to the main blog hop page to find the other participants. Prizes galore are being offered  and thanks for dropping in.
Stay wicked.

Innocent ~ Six Sentence Sunday #SixSunday

Six more from Incidental Contact, Book #3 of Those Devilish De Marco Men, coming in January from Silver Publishing.

She was like a foreign species, half woman, half child, Eric thought, suppressing a groan. Where was the artifice, the coyness he'd become used to from women? He took off his jeans and boxers, half hoping she'd panic at the sight of him. To foster the idea she could still call this off, he leaned back on the arm of the couch, when what he really wanted to do was pin her down, settle between her soft thighs and fuck her till she screamed out his name.
"Oh."
The single word as she studied his erection with rounded eyes made him wonder whether she'd thought all cocks were the same size.

On the Bottom ~ Six Sentence Sunday #SixSunday

Six more from Incidental Contact, Those Devilish De Marco Men, Book #3.

It amused him to see the way her feet barely touched the floorboard when she buckled her seat belt. She swiped impatiently at the condensation on her window. "Actually, one of my all-time fantasies is making love under a blanket in a horse-drawn sleigh while it snows."
A fantasy indeed, given it rarely snowed around here. He grinned at her. "Let me guess, you wanna be on the bottom so the snow's not going down the crack of your ass?"

Incidental Contact~ Six Sentence Sunday #SixSunday

I'm going to give Wildly Inappropriate a rest this week, I've chosen my six sentences from Eric's story, which has a fresh new title: Incidental Contact.
(these six sentences are unedited and subject to deletion)

She went all wet and needy when he began to divest her of her bulky sweater, his hands steady and sure as though he'd undressed a woman a thousand times. Her nipples hardened into throbbing darts.
"Be sure, Amy," he rasped, tossing the garment aside to hook one finger beneath her chin,  studying her face with his incredible hazel eyes. "Be sure this is what you want, because in a very few minutes, there'll be no going back. I'm going to learn your body the way I learn a new car, so I know exactly what makes you hum. I'm going to figure out what it takes to make you scream and how to make you beg. I'll memorize the sounds you make when you come, so I can play them in my head while you're at school."

Hopefully by next week, I'll have a brand new cover to show off for this story, now that I've finalized the title. Thanks so much for dropping in. Please visit the official Six Sentence Sunday blog, where you'll find a wide variety of six sentence excerpts and possibly a new favorite author to read. Have a great week!
